Another Great Day of Biking!

We had another great turnout for our second event! We started our bike ride at Botzum Trailhead. We had a perfect day for biking. The weather was beautiful! We biked about seven miles. Along the way we spotted a friendly turtle near the Beaver Marsh. After our bike ride we headed over to Sand Run Metro Park to have our cookout. What a beautiful park! Dave set his grill up and faithfully cooked for all of us! When we were done eating we had the best time throwing around the arobie! Check out all the photos Here.

Our First Event: WOW!!
What a great turnout we had for our first event!! Twelve people were there ready to have some fun and share in the first of many Real Life Biking Club rides this Summer!! Not to be left out, we had three more join us for the cookout afterwards for a total of fifteen there and having fun!

Everyone arrived at Deep Lock Quarry Metro Park and we were off on the trails for a 6 mile bike ride. This was such a great way to spend an afternoon! Everyone had someone to ride with. Whether you're a fast biker, or you like to take your time, getting to the next biking event is a must!! When we arrived back from our bike ride, we parked the bikes and set up the cookout. Between Dave's grill, Maria's awesome baked beans, Barb's veggies, Anita's to die for scotchie's, Brian's pasta salad, Amy's foxtail and everyone else who contributed, we had a feast!! Who would have ever thought a little foxtail would be so much fun? Who would have ever thought four cans of silly string would be even more fun? We hope you can join us for our next bike ride and cookout on the 20th of May..... Maybe Kenn will bring more silly string next time - you never know who will be the next target. Hope to see you there!

Here are a few pictures of all the fun!
